is Associate Professor of Voice at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
Opera roles include Susanna, Zerlina, Pamina, Despina, Nanetta, Alice Ford, Laurie, Adina, Armide, Bea, and Anne Trulove, with Opera Philadelphia, Florentine Opera, and Bard Summerfest, among others.
In 2015, Dr. Nash premiered composer Allen McCullough’s Lotte Lehman Foundation commission, The Blue Symphony. McCullough’s The American Songbook, will debut in 2025. Dr. Nash also premiered Libby Larsen’s 2011 commission Donal Oge, for SongFest and the Sorel Foundation. Her recording of the work with pianist Nathan Salazar can be found on the CD “New American Song@SongFest.”
A frequent guest clinician, Dr. Nash’s students are music educators, Fulbright scholars, competition winners, and attend premier summer programs and graduate schools.
As a scholar and performer, she has presented at both regional and national NATS conferences as well as international CMS conferences (2019 and 2023) and is currently interested in the relationship between empathy and the creative process.
Dr. Nash has a DMA in Voice from the University of Michigan, MM and GPD degrees from Peabody Conservatory, and BA degrees in Music and French literature from Dickinson College.
